We meditate for 15 minutes; I will share a few thoughts and then we engage in reflecting on our experiences; we raise personal concerns or issues; and develop deeper connections within the community. If something is troubling you or is on your mind, this group is here to support you.
In this informal gathering, we are creating a safe space where people can come together as one. The purpose of this gathering is to tune in with our hearts and to share a piece with everyone.
In a rush to meet our daily obligations, it’s so easy to forget to be true to ourselves. Many of us are living our lives for other people. We become someone who we are NOT. In the process, we hide our true selves from the world and create a well-protected secret self called our shadow self.
Our unconscious minds created this shadow self and it contains all the unacceptable ideas, impulses, desires, weaknesses, perversions or embarrassing fears — all hidden away in the darkness, in the shadow of our souls. This is a place where no one can reach.
This safe space allows for you to be truly you, think about it as practice!
